A mic preamplifier would work. Might have to spend a little over $20...unless you can find one used.

Why not? Just use the correct cables and make sure the speakers you use can handle the power of the amp.

If you go to the Behringer website (www.behringer.com) there is a dealer locator. Find one near you and I'm willing to bet they will sell you original knobs... for a fee of course.
